I build intelligent physical systems across robotics, machine learning, and control—from autonomous vehicles and learning-based robot arms to machines that interact with music and people. I am interested in turning research ideas into physical experiences that are useful, expressive, and alive.

Outside of engineering: I play erhu, practice kendo, and photograph people and places. These experiences shape how I see movement, expression, and interaction—leading me toward creative problems I wouldn't uncover through technology alone.
